Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department gives painting education at undergraduate, graduate and post graduate level. Aim of our department is to educate creative, contemporary, intellectual painters who can produce authentic works at the universal level and to carry the esthetic enjoyment to universal levels considering the material and spiritual needs of the society. Also; it is aimed to create  open interaction courses and outdoor events among all art disciplines.

Graduates from the Department of Painting can work as freelance artists, designers, painters in private and public institutions, art consultants, academic staff in educational and research institutions related to fine arts, restorers in restoration of ancient artifacts (such as paintings or wall paintings).
