OUR MISSION

The mission of the Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Fine Arts is to be an institution that is committed to universal thought and values, contributes to national and global culture through art; supports a contemporary, independent, professional knowledge-based educational philosophy; collaborates with national and international educational and research institutions, industries, and non-governmental organizations; and aims to nurture individuals who are proficient and knowledgeable in their professions in the fields of art, design, industry, and education.

It aims to guide its students to become individuals who act in accordance with the fundamental principles of art and creativity, are open to development, entrepreneurial, adept at teamwork, facilitate the dissemination and application of knowledge, think within the framework of scientific methods that encompass research, discovery, application, experimentation, supervision, and conclusion processes; and who are devoted to Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions, their country, and societal values.

OUR VISION

Our faculty prioritises raising students who achieve international success in the fields of art and design, adhering to the principles of quality management, fostering team awareness, and being open to collaboration. It places importance on solidarity within the institution with all stakeholders, as well as harmony and a sense of belonging. Recognising the privilege of being situated in Çanakkale, a city with some of the world's most significant cultural and historical heritages, our faculty has embraced the vision of becoming an educational institution preferred on an international scale. It aims to lead the way in ensuring that art occupies a prevalent and effective position in society, producing creative individuals and being a source of pride not just for its graduates but for all its members.
